Event Description:

The 24rd Anniversary Edition of the Buttermilk Days Celebration will be held this August 23 – 25th on the Buttermilk Lot across from St. Monica’s Church on S. 3rd St in Bardstown, KY. There will be music by bands and DJs all day, prizes, games, food and craft vendor booths Friday and Saturday and good down home comradery.  This festival is open to the public and will expect to draw approximately 3000 people.  It is Bardstown’s best version of a Nelson County Homecoming.  It was designed to bring the Bardstown Community together, young and old, black and white, male and female–AND IT WORKS!

 

Buttermilk is one big “Family Reunion”!  Good food, good people = Good Times!  This is truly Bardstown’s Homecoming.  We hope everyone comes out and enjoys themselves.
