Understanding Diversity
This class will facilitate a conversation to give participants a clearer understanding of diversity in the workplace. Create an awareness of the benefits inclusion can make by embracing a wide variety of people of different races or cultures in your organization. Leave the course with a goal of intentionally building greater diversity to produce a better company.
About the Instructor:
Jeff Kennedy is retired from the United States Army and currently works at the Human Resource Command at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Jeff has taught for Miami-Dade Public School System, Hardin County School System, Counselor for Jefferson County Public School System, Workforce Solution Trainer for Elizabethtown Community Technical College, Business Instructor for Sullivan University and Spencerian College.

Jeff has earned five college degrees: Associate Degree in General Studies, Associate in Applied Management, bachelor’s degree in liberal arts with a concentration in Management, Master of Arts in Organizational Management and Master of Science in Conflict Management. He is currently completing his third master’s degree in human resource leadership.
Jeff holds several certifications as an EEO counselor, Civil, Employment and Family, Divorce and Child Custody Mediator, Dale Carnegie training program and an ACICS accreditation evaluator.
Jeff is the owner of several businesses and Not-for-profit Organization: HOPE: Helping Other People Excel, Business Development, Training Institute, and “You Cannot Be What You Cannot See, LLC.
Jeff has a passion for helping other people. He is involved in his community, for example, he supports veterans, active duty and reserve soldiers in the area by holding concerts and welcome back events, annual Veteran’s Day awards program on Fort Knox, Make a wish for a cancer teen with 11 Aviation Command. He is a formal Site director and supporter of 5000 Role Model of Excellence program, P and many more.
Jeff is married to Lynnette, and they have adult four children: Michael, Isaac, Deborah, Janae and four Grandchildren. Jeff is known this saying, “No one comes up, to Low expectation.”
